Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in the Halesowen area. This position offers the flexibility of both full-time and part-time hours, allowing for a fantastic work-life balance.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. This will involve managing the classroom, ensuring student engagement and maintaining a positive learning environment.
– Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subject areas
– Managing student behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
– Supporting students with their learning and addressing any queries or concerns
– Following school policies and procedures
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the education sector, or for those seeking a flexible working arrangement. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people is highly desirable. We will also consider recent University Graduates for this role.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
