Zest Education is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to kickstart a career in education and gain valuable experience in a school setting.
Ideal candidates for this role are recent university graduates or individuals with prior experience working with children or young people. This experience can come from various backgrounds such as scout leaders, sports coaches, support workers, or any other relevant roles outside of schools.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher
– Manage classroom behaviour effectively
– Maintain a positive learning environment for students
– Provide feedback on students’ performance to appropriate staff members
This position serves as a perfect stepping stone for those passionate about education who have not yet established a career in the field. Many of our former Cover Supervisors have gone on to pursue successful careers in education thanks to their experience with Zest Education.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
