Do you have a passion to continue your teaching career but are searching for a less demanding and more flexible approach to do so? You could find yourself a good fit for this cross-year PPA cover role!
A wonderful primary school in the Kingswinford area is now working with Zest Education to find a PPA teacher to work part-time beginning in October 2024 and continuing through the end of the academic year (July 2025).
The two-form school works hard to give every student a high-quality education through their engaging, practical, and challenging lessons, believing that doing so benefits not just the students but also the environment of the school as a whole. The school maintains close connections with the community and other schools.
As a PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) teacher, it is essential to have a diverse skill set and a passion for education. In addition to meeting the job requirements and responsibilities, a successful PPA teacher should possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other teachers and support staff. Furthermore, creativity and adaptability are crucial in developing engaging lesson plans and activities to meet the varying needs of students.
To excel in this role, a PPA teacher must demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage their time efficiently and ensure that all administrative tasks related to planning and assessment are completed accurately and on time. Moreover, being able to provide constructive feedback to students and work closely with parents to support their child’s learning journey are key aspects of the job responsibilities. The school are looking for a candidate who has prior experience teaching within a primary school establishment with a valid QTS status. Knowledge of the national curriculum is desirable.
