Are you an experienced and enthusiastic PPA teacher looking for a new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a well-established school in Halesowen, working in partnership with Zest Education.
As a PPA teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across Key Stage 2, providing cover for planning, preparation, and assessment time for the school’s teaching staff. This vital role ensures continuity in student learning and allows teachers to have essential uninterrupted time for administrative duties and professional development.
The role is due to start in November 2024 and will last until at least the end of the academic year, offering stability and the chance to make a real impact on the students’ education. Whether you are an experienced PPA teacher or a newly qualified teacher looking to gain valuable experience, we welcome your application. The role is a part time position, working 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 2 students, following the school’s curriculum and lesson plans.
– Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
– Support students’ individual needs and provide constructive feedback.
– Collaborate with the school’s teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition between lessons.
– Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Experience working with Key Stage 2 students.
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment techniques.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
