Zest Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Tamworth area.

Position: Day-to-Day Teaching Assistant
Sector: Primary Education
Salary: £89 per day
Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-Day / Supply)
Agency: Zest Education
Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils needing additional support
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
Contribute to planning and preparation where appropriate
Be adaptable and ready to work in different schools across Tamworth
Previous experience working with children (school-based or similar) is preferred
A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for supporting young learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Flexibility to travel to various schools in and around Tamworth

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
