Job Description

**Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher**

**Company: Zest Education**

**Location: Stoke-on-Trent**

**Start Date: After October 2024 Half-Term**

Zest Education is currently seeking an experienced Design and Technology teacher to join a large and vibrant secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students, with a focus on supporting GCSE students leading up to their final grades.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for KS3 and KS4 Design and Technology students
– Provide excellent support to GCSE students to help them achieve their full potential
– Utilize the well-maintained and up-to-date D&T facilities to enhance the learning experience
– Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment

**Requirements:**
– PGCE or UK equivalent qualification
– Previous experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students
– Experience supporting GCSE students is highly desirable
– Prior knowledge of teaching large class sizes of over 30 students is a plus

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
