Zest Education are currently working with a secondary school in Cannock, who are looking for applications for a high calibre Design & Technology teacher. This is a full time role and is set to start in September 2022.

Ideally the school would like the successful applicant to be creative and innovative with their teaching methods, whilst maintain a positive learning environment. This is a great opportunity to work within a school making a difference to the lives of its young students, achieving excellent exam results, and continuing to raise standards.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Design & Technology and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (Resistant Material knowledge would be an advantage)
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
