Design Technology Teacher

Job Description

Are you a Design Technology Teacher looking for a new and exciting challenge? A school in the Yardley area are searching for a full time D&T teacher to join their team in the new academic year (September 2024). They are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about inspiring students and nurturing their creativity in the field of design and technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The school is a vibrant and supportive community, with an excellent design department and facilities for you to deliver engaging and exciting lessons that allow the students to harness their design skills under your guidance.

Key responsibilities:
– Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners
– Mark and assess students work and track student progression
– Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop
– Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
