Studying drama cultivates a safe and respectful environment where students can explore complexed and current topics, showing an understanding of the world around them and develop the analysis of social, historical and cultural contexts of the world.
The successful candidate must have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- A strong passion for the subject of Drama and able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS4
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
This is a full time position starting in September 2022 for one academic term with the potential to be extended.
Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
