Zest Education are currently working closely with a secondary school located in central Wolverhampton, to aid in their search for a Drama Teacher. The role will be a full-time position to start in September 2023, for the academic year if the fit is right.

The school is a large secondary, that offers good indoor and outdoor facilities, to allow for creative and fun lessons. They are very pupil focused and spend majority of their time making sure the pupils are enjoying the environment they are in. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive departmental team, that encourage all their students to excel in everything they do and push them become confident young adults. It is also based in a good area for both public and private transport.

The successful candidate will be committed, enthusiastic, and creative in how they teach. Building relationships is key to the role as the school believes that this will help get the best out of the young adults being taught here.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Drama and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment.
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons.
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
  6. Creative and innovative teaching methods, the ability to motivate students.

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
