Are you passionate about promoting creativity and ensuring a safe environment for students to explore their design and technology skills? We are currently seeking a Design Technology Technician to join our secondary school in Wolverhampton on a part-time basis starting in January 2025.
As a Design Technology Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers by preparing classrooms and materials for design and technology classes. Candidates with prior experience working in school settings as a DT technician or possessing qualifications in Woodworking, Art, Textiles, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude towards safety, and a genuine interest in fostering a dynamic learning environment for students. Working hours for this role are between Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
