Zest Education are recruiting for an ECT who is or will be qualified by September 2022 to work within a secondary school in the Handsworth area.

The school’s facilities are excellent and provide a 21st century learning environment. The school is built on a pleasant, enclosed campus, close to the centre of Birmingham.

The school offer a broad curriculum where academic rigour is enjoyed.  They are committed to excellent teaching and learning in an environment where students relish the opportunities they are given to master the subjects they are studying, are willing to take risks and enjoy the intellectual challenges this brings.

This role is for one full school academic year and starts in September 2022.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

The school is looking to support an early career teacher through their induction year.

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.
