Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting for a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Burton. Starting in the new year, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to support the learning and development of young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality early years education
  • Support children’s learning through play, structured activities, and tailored interventions
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and organisation of daily activities
  • Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing updates with colleagues and parents
  • Promote children’s personal, social, and emotional development alongside academic growth

✅ Requirements

  • Ideally hold an Early Years qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for supporting young learners
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team
