Zest Education is closely collaborating with multiple schools in Burton that are actively seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs). There are various short-term and long-term positions available, to start from September 2024.

The successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

– A PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification that grants QTS or QTLS certification.
– A passion for their subject and extensive knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
– A strong inclination to work as part of a broader teaching team.
– The ability and knowledge required to plan, assess, and deliver high-quality lessons (applicable only to short- and long-term placements).
– Proficiency in classroom and behaviour management.
– Computer literacy, excellent ICT skills, and effective time management.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
