A popular primary school in Redditch are recruiting for a full time Year 6 Newly Qualified Teacher to join their team from September 2022. This will be a full-time position, continuing until July 2023 and has the potential to be made permanent for the right teacher.

The head is ideally looking to support an Early Career Teacher (ECT/NQT) through their induction for the full academic year.

This popular primary school caters for a broad range of pupils and has an inclusive learning environment which enables all children to feel safe and supported.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold valid QTS
  • Demonstrate the highest regard for health and safety and safeguarding
  • Be an enthusiastic, creative, and resourceful teacher
  • Be a strong team player who is approachable and engaging
  • Demonstrate a passion for education and supporting children of all abilities and backgrounds
  • Be able to identify and target individual learning needs

The opportunity:

  • Invaluable experience working alongside a well-established and dedicated KS2 department
  • Support from an experienced mentor for the entirety of the role
  • Half a day PPA cover
  • Half day ECT/NQT time for support/training
  • Full time position
  • Competitive rate of pay (£110 – £169 per day, term time only)
