A popular primary school in Redditch are recruiting for a full time Year 2 Newly Qualified Teacher to join their team from September 2022. This will be a full-time position, continuing for a minimum of 2 terms in

The head is ideally looking to support an Early Career Teacher (ECT/NQT) through their induction for the autumn and spring term.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold valid QTS
  • Demonstrate a passion for education and supporting children of all abilities
  • Be a reliable, organised, and enthusiastic teacher
  • Have a strong work ethic and creative flair within the classroom
  • Be able to engage with and target individual learning needs
  • Be fun and approachable professional
  • Demonstrate a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’

The opportunity:

  • Experience working alongside a well-established and professional KS1 department
  • Half a day PPA cover
  • Half day ECT/NQT time for support/training
  • Full time position guaranteed for 2 terms
  • Competitive rate of pay (£110 – £169 per day, term time only)
  • Full support from an experienced mentor for the entirety of the role
