A well-regarded primary school in Smethwick is recruiting for a full time Year 1 Early Career Teacher to start with them in September 2022. The position will be long-term and will be ideal to support someone in the first steps of their teaching career.

The head is looking to support an ECT through their induction period for a minimum of 1 term, with the potential for the role to be extended through until Summer 2023.

This popular primary school is a large and busy school which caters for a broad range of pupils and has strong connections within the local community. The school is run by a passionate and hard-working team who uphold an inclusive and supportive ethos across all phases of education. The Head is looking for a teacher who can uphold the schools’ values and contribute to the school as a whole.

The successful teacher must:

  • Hold valid UK QTS
  • Demonstrate the highest regard for health and safety and the safeguarding of all pupils
  • Be an enthusiastic, reliable, and resourceful teacher
  • Have a passion for education and supporting children of all abilities
