Zest Education are currently working alongside a Secondary School in the Dudley area to recruit for ambitious and engaging English teacher. This position is due to start in October 2023 and has the potential to run for the rest of the academic year. The school have advised that this role can run on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The school are looking for a candidate who can contribute towards maintaining their high academic expectations. Successful candidates will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong enthusiasm for the subject of English and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum (KS 5 is not essential but is desirable)
- A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
- Experience in classroom and behaviour management
