Zest Education are in urgent need of an English teacher, that can start ASAP, in the Aldridge area. This will be to teach across KS3- KS4. The position is full time and will be for the rest of the academic year. Pay to scale M1 – M6 available.

The school is based in a popular area so is easily accessible by private and public transport. The school ensures that every student achieves their potential by providing an education that challenges them intellectually and socially. The school offers a wide range of opportunities to develop their pupils’ talents and interests.

Successful candidates will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of English and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
