The Role

As English Teacher & Literacy Coordinator, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality English teaching across KS3 to KS5

  • Lead whole-school literacy strategy, promoting reading, writing, and oracy

  • Coordinate literacy interventions and support staff in embedding literacy across the curriculum

  • Analyse literacy data to inform targeted support for students

  • Play a key role in raising literacy standards and contributing to the wider school improvement agenda

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher with QTS and strong subject knowledge in English

  • A track record of excellent classroom practice and student progress

  • Experience or strong interest in leading literacy strategy across a school

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills

  • A commitment to inclusion, equity, and high expectations for all students
