Start Date: From March 2026
Location: Telford & surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience


About the Role

Zest Education is looking for a motivated and inspiring English Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Telford. You Will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and track pupil progress using a variety of methods
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to support student growth
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and expectations

What We’re Looking For:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS/QTLS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for English, with the ability to teach KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Experience delivering English within a secondary setting, with solid behaviour management
  • Ability to plan, mark, and deliver high‑quality lessons

Note: Planning and marking required only for short‑term or long‑term placements.
