EYFS Class Teacher

Job Description

Are you a dedicated EYFS teacher looking for a new opportunity in education? Zest Education is currently seeking a full-time EYFS Class Teacher to join a vibrant 2 form entry primary school in Cannock starting in January 2025.

The school is a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child is valued and given the opportunity to thrive. With a supportive staff team, excellent facilities, and a strong sense of community, they provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for both students and teachers. The school provides well-resourced EYFS classrooms with dedicated learning areas, with a strong emphasis on creative and play-based learning.

Roles:
– Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons for the EYFS curriculum
– Create a positive and nurturing learning environment for young learners
– Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
– Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities
– Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and well-being

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching in the EYFS phase
– Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early childhood education
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well as part of a team
– Commitment to providing a high standard of education for all students

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
