Zest Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher (0.8) to join a charming primary school in Burton on Trent. This part-time position, working 4 days a week starting from September 2024 for a minimum of 2 academic terms, offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on young minds.
With strong links to the community, the school is a popular choice in Burton on Trent. The staff places the needs of the children at the centre of all they do and gives them a stimulating environment to grow in, complete with several rooms to aid in growth and a large outdoor space.
Responsibilities of this role include:
– Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of early years students.
– Creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic development.
– Assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
– Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to provide a holistic educational experience for students.
– Upholding high standards of professionalism and actively contributing to the positive school culture.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
