EYFS Teacher, Walsall.

Zest Education is proud to be exclusively working with a two-form school in Walsall. This position is for a part time EYFS Teacher starting in September 2022 for one term. There is a possibility that the school may ask the successful candidate to stay on a termly basis if that is agreeable to both parties.

The school itself has improved and continues to do so. The quantifiable statistics are showing very promising signs with pupil attendance going up and behavioural incidents’ going down. The school has dramatically improved since the Headteacher has come on board. They have implemented a wide range of successful plans including overhauling the behaviour policy. Due to the increased popularity of the school, the intake is growing each year and the school now think it is time to take on another EYFS Teacher to help cope with demand.

The successful candidate must be exciting and a confident classroom practitioner. Due to the role being EYFS, the candidate must be hands on and active within the classroom. Following the schools guidance on behaviour for continuity is important so somebody who can follow the rules and work as a team is important.

Both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be considered for this role. Applicants who have EYFS experience will be in an advantageous position to be successful with their application. The successful candidate will be given full support from Zest and the school to ensure a smooth transition.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
