EYFS teacher, Birmingham.
Zest Education is working closely with a large primary school in the Erdington area that is looking for a part time EYFS teacher. The position would be three days a week and would start in September 2020. The roll will be initially for two terms with a possible extension in the right candidate is found.
The school is just outside the centre or Erdington and caters for a variety of academic abilities. The school has faced some challenges over recent years but due to some much-needed funding and a new look senior leadership team, the school is turning itself around. The school is right at the heart of the local community and has a great relationship with the parents and local council. The has a fantastic pupil support system which has benefitted every single pupil.
The successful candidate must be able to role up their sleeves and get stuck in. They must have an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and able to convey it to a mixture of academic abilities. As is most common in EYFS roles, the successful candidate must be hands on with the pupils and have an active hand in the development.
Both NQT’s and experienced teachers will be considered for this position. If you have previous EYFS experience, then this would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be given full support during their job transition.
