EYFS Teaching assistant, Erdington.

Zest Education is delighted to be exclusively working with a large school in the Erdington region of Birmingham. The role is full time and is due to start in September 2022. This role is for the academic year with the possibility of permanent contract.

This school is rated by Ofsted as ‘Good’. The schools EYFS department has been leading the way for some years now and always sets examples to other local schools on how constantly adapt and improve to changing circumstances. The school caters for a wide range of academic abilities and has a fantastic support network for the pupils. The EYFS department has had fantastic results over the years and is looking to continue and improve on those results by adding a new EYFS Teaching assistant to bring fresh ideas.

The successful candidate must be dedicated and enthusiastic about the development of EYFS pupils. They must also have in-depth curriculum knowledge and be able to express that to their class and the varying academic abilities within it. Importantly, the school expects the very best from staff and pupils each day so dedication to the school and to the pupils is vital.

Bot newly qualified and more experienced candidates will be considered for this role. If you have experience in an EYFS setting, then this would be advantageous however please do take note of the qualities needed as listed above. The successful candidate will be given full support by Zest Education and the school during the transition into their new role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
