Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Loughborough. This is a full-time role starting immediately, with working hours from 8:00am to 3:00pm. For the right candidate, there is a strong possibility of a permanent role starting in September.
Support the classroom teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
Work one-to-one or with small groups to support children’s development
Promote a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
Monitor and record children’s progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents
Experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery experience preferred)
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education)
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
Ability to build strong relationships with young children and colleagues
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through Zest Education)

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
