We are recruiting EYFS Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools and early years settings in Erdington, Birmingham. These roles offer flexible full-time or part-time hours, making them ideal for candidates seeking adaptable work within Early Years.

📍 Location: Erdington, Birmingham

🕒 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Full-time or Part-time)

📅 Start Date: ASAP

🏫 Settings: Primary Schools & Early Years (Nursery & Reception)

🌱 About the Role

You will play a key part in supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood development and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children across Nursery and Reception within EYFS.
  • Assist with learning through play, early phonics, and developmental activities.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to help children progress.
  • Contribute to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work alongside class teachers or room leaders to support daily routines and classroom organisation.

🎓 What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with nursery-aged or primary-aged children (essential).
  • A qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Teaching Assistant support (preferred but not essential).
  • A flexible, positive, and adaptable approach to working in different school environments.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
  • Creativity, patience, and strong communication skills.
