Female PE Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Female PE Teacher to join a secondary school in the Castle Bromwich area. The school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust and provides a supportive and inspiring environment for both staff and students. This is a full-time role due to commence in November 2024. The position is due to run for a minimum of one term, with possibility of further extension. Due to the nature of the role, we are only able to accept applications from female candidates. This requirement is necessary to ensure appropriate changing room supervision.

As a Female PE Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering practical lessons to students across various key stages and abilities. Your role will involve creating engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. You will also be responsible for assessing and tracking students’ progress, providing feedback, and implementing strategies for improvement.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and relevant qualifications in Physical Education
– Experience teaching PE to secondary school students
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
– Excellent communication and organisational skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
