Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Female PE Teacher to join a Secondary School in the Dudley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE to students across KS3 and KS4. This is a full time role due to commence in February 2024. The role is expected to run until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver engaging and inclusive practical lessons.
2. Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.
3. Plan and differentiate lessons to accommodate various learning abilities and ensure every student has an opportunity to succeed.
4. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students.
5. Organise and supervise extracurricular sporting activities.
6. Attend staff meetings, parent evenings, and training sessions as required.
7. Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment by enforcing school rules and health and safety guidelines during practical lessons.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
3. Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
4. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for PE and assessment techniques.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
6. Ability to plan and deliver practical lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
7. Enthusiasm for promoting sports and physical activity among young people.
8. Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively plan and prepare lessons.
9. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
10. A positive and professional attitude towards teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.
