Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school, located in South Birmingham in the Selly Oak area, the school are looking for a qualified Female Physical Education teacher. The role will be full time and will start in January 2024, this will be for a minimum of one term, but has the high potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The school have specified they require a female teacher due to supervision required within the changing rooms.
The school is based in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced and hard-working environment, and they will also have access to good indoor and outdoor facilities, to allow for creative and fun lessons.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Physical Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to be involved with extracurricular PE clubs/activities
Rates of pay will vary dependent at on experience from MPS1 – MPS6
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
