Female PE Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are looking to recruit a female PE teacher for a school located in Washwood Heath. The role is full time and starts March 2025 and is a permanent position.

The school is a fast paced high achieving secondary looking to maintain their already good standards. They believe in trying to help and support each student into becoming promising young adults. It is also situated in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport.

The successful applicant will be driven, passionate and creative while being able to build relationships with all students. We also try and encourage the successful applicant to get involved with extracurricular activities, this shows willing and helps build relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for PE and a substantial knowledge of the subject across KS3 and KS4
  • A strong desire to be part of the wider department
  • The ability to control the classroom and the behaviour of the students
  • A creative mind with the ability to adapt lessons as and when needed to suit the needs of the students.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
