Female PE Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is offering an exciting opportunity for a female PE teacher to join the team at a local Cannock secondary school. This full-time role will commence from January 2025 for at least one half term, with the possibility of extension throughout the year. Please note that this position is exclusively for female candidates due to the requirement for changing room supervision.

With an ‘Good’ OFSTED rating, the school is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become part of their PE department. The ideal candidate should be driven, creative, and able to design flexible lesson plans according to weather conditions and available space.

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
– Possession of a PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification permitting QTS or QTLS
– A profound enthusiasm for Physical Education with a solid grasp of the subject matter at KS3 and KS4 levels
– A collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute to a cohesive team environment
– Willingness to participate in extracurricular PE clubs and activities
The remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience level.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
