Zest Education seeks to enlist a Food Technology Teacher for a Secondary school situated in the Marston Green area. This full-time position is available immediately on a temporary-to-permanent basis for the right candidate. The responsibilities of the Food Technology Teacher will encompass delivering engaging and informative Food Technology lessons (both theoretical and practical) across key stages 3 and 4. This role involves holistic classroom duties such as lesson planning, marking, and maintaining effective classroom management. The ideal candidate will possess robust subject knowledge along with adept classroom and behavior management skills.

To apply for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or (QTLS) in Food Technology (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
  • Essential experience teaching in a UK Secondary School
  • Ability to teach Food Technology up to key stage 4
  • Exceptional classroom and behavior management abilities

Responsibilities as a Food Technology Teacher:

  • Undertake whole-class teaching duties, including planning and marking
  • Drive enhancements in Food Technology GCSE grades
  • Monitor and facilitate pupil progress
  • Participate in faculty excursions and extracurricular learning activities
  • Cultivate an engaging and dynamic learning environment that is regularly refreshed
  • Deliver Food Technology theory and practical lessons across key stages 3 and 4

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
