Zest Education are working closely with an “Outstanding” Ofsted rated school located in North Birmingham, close to Sutton Coldfield. The school are looking for a new Food Technology teacher to start in April 2022 to teach across KS3 and KS4. The position will be full time, for the rest of the academic year.
The school offers fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities and has a dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic team of staff, who work hard to ensure the pupils receive a high standard of teaching and support to excel in the future.
The school also offers state of the art facilities to allow for creative and inventive lessons to be conducted daily.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Food Technology and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Creative and innovative teaching methods, the ability to motivate students
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
Both Newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
