Zest Education, an esteemed education agency renowned for excellence, is excited to announce a unique opportunity to join a lovely school in Telford as a KS2 Teaching Assistant. This position is full-time and is available for an immediate start, running until the end of the academic year.

As the successful candidate for the KS2 Teaching Assistant role, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of students in Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, contributing to the maintenance of a positive learning atmosphere, and participating in the overall development of the students’ academic and social skills.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
– Previous experience working in a similar educational setting is desirable.
– A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
– The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team and adapt to the evolving needs of the classroom environment.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
