Role Overview: Zest Education are seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and effective learning environment, delivering the national curriculum, and fostering a love of learning in our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS1 students.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports student well-being and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the overall success of the school.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1.
  • Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all students.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and digital learning tools.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm in developing innovative teaching methods.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
