We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA teacher to join our team at a primary school in Saltley. As a PPA teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the existing teaching staff by covering planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time across various year groups. The role is to start from November 2024 and will continue on a long term basis.
Responsibilities:
– Cover PPA time for teachers, ensuring a seamless continuation of learning for students
– Engage students in meaningful activities during PPA sessions
– Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality curriculum content
– Maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students
– Support the school’s commitment to raising aspirations for all children
– Contribute to the holistic development of students, placing them at the heart of everything we do
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience working within a primary school setting as a class teacher
– Strong understanding of the national curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a team
– Passion for providing a high-quality education to children
This is a full-time position, and you will be expected to work Monday to Friday. While the role does not involve planning, you will be required to complete all work at the end of each day. The friendly and supportive school environment, coupled with the commitment of our hardworking staff, ensures a positive and rewarding experience.
The pay for this role will range from £140 to £212 a day dependent on references and experience.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
