Zest Education is recruiting a passionate and experienced Full-Time Reception Teacher to join a well-regarded primary school in Tamworth. This exciting maternity cover role begins Monday 3rd November and offers the chance to make a real difference in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
This is a full-time class teacher position within a warm and inclusive Reception setting. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and nurture each child’s early learning journey. The school provides excellent support and resources, making this a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Early Years education.
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development in a caring and structured environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning community.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in Early Years (Reception) or Key Stage 1.
Strong understanding of child development and early learning pedagogy.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A committed, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
