Zest Education are working alongside a high performing secondary school in the Telford area to recruit a Science teacher to work across KS3 and KS4. This role is full time from January 2024 for a minimum of one term.

The school is a high performing Secondary School that has benefitted from investment in their infrastructure and technology. The team here work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive ethos across all areas of the school and put the children at the heart of what they do. The ideal candidate will be joining a supportive and creative wider science department.

The school are pupil focused and spend a large majority of their time making sure the students are engaging with the curriculum and achieving their goals. The school believes that the best way for the students to achieve is to have access to creative and innovative resources to enable dynamic learning.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS.
  • An enthusiasm for science with exceptional knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
  • Desire to work as part of a wider team, supporting them as and when they need.
  • The ability to effectively mark, plan and deliver lessons of a high quality.
  • Have classroom and behaviour management experience.
