Are you in search of a full-time Science role that brings you closer to home? Zest Education is currently on the lookout for a committed Science Teacher for a highly successful Secondary school in Wolverhampton. This position is set to start in November 2024 and will run for at least one half term.
The school places a strong emphasis on creating a nurturing and inclusive setting, with a focus on putting children at the forefront of all their endeavors. The chosen candidate will join a vibrant science department recognized for its innovative approaches and unwavering support, showcasing a solid understanding of KS3, KS4, and KS5 subjects. With the backing of a cooperative Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the school provides continuous training to aid staff members in their professional advancement.
The preferred applicant should possess a PGCE or a similar teaching qualification from the UK that grants them QTS or QTLS status. They should display a deep interest in science, possess extensive knowledge in KS3, KS4, and KS5, and be ready to make valuable contributions within a team environment. Proficiency in creating lesson plans, conducting assessments, and delivering engaging lessons, coupled with prior involvement in classroom management and behavior control, is crucial.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
