Location: Burton

Zest Education is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a Nursery class at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Burton. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to support children with additional needs, specifically around speech and language development, and make a real difference in their early education journey.

Role Overview:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with speech, language, and communication needs within the Nursery class.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement individual support plans.
Encourage children’s social, emotional, and academic development through play-based learning.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Support classroom routines, learning activities, and the development of key early learning skills.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly speech and language difficulties.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for Early Years education and inclusive learning.
Relevant qualifications or experience in a school or nursery setting are desirable.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
