As a full-time teaching assistant in Balsall Heath, you will play a crucial role in the Year 2 class, supporting the teacher and children in their educational journey. Your commitment to the job will be key in ensuring a positive and enriching learning environment for all.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with small groups of children, assisting with core subjects and ensuring that the classroom is well-organised and equipped for effective learning. Your dedication, hard work, and approachable nature will be essential in fostering a supportive atmosphere within the school community. You will be required to work well as part of the wider team, be confident in conversing with parents/carers and the wider school teams and demonstrate a genuine passion for education.

This fantastic opportunity is starting after February half term and will be continuing until the end of the academic year. There is potential for this to become a permanent role for the new academic year, 2025/26

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
