Full-time Teacher

Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Zest Education is currently seeking a qualified teacher to join our team in a special educational needs school located in Walsall. This full-time role is set to commence in November 2024 or earlier if possible and offers a long-term commitment.

As a teacher in this school, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with an Autism spectrum condition or an identified social, emotional, or mental health need. The school caters to students aged 9 to 19 years, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for their educational journey.

Your main responsibilities will include setting high standards and expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students. You will assess, record, and report on their attendance, progress, development, and attainment, ensuring accurate and detailed records are maintained. Creating a safe and stimulating environment rooted in mutual respect will be crucial to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Consistently demonstrating positive attitudes, values, and behaviour will be essential, serving as a role model for the students. We are looking for candidates who have prior experience working with students with special educational needs. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or have experience in mainstream or special schools, we welcome your application.

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified teacher with a PGCE, QTS, or recognised equivalent. Your passion for education, combined with your expertise in supporting students with SEND, will greatly contribute to their overall growth and development.

This school believe that every student deserves an equal opportunity to thrive academically and personally. If you are ready to make a positive impact and be part of a supportive and dedicated team, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding teaching position.
