Zest Education is recruiting for a reputable primary school in Redditch, who is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Y1 teacher to join their team. This exciting opportunity involves working within a Year 1 class at a one-form entry school, starting in January 2024 to cover a maternity contract until the end of the academic year.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Experience: The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the KS1 national curriculum and be able to develop engaging lesson plans to meet the individual needs of the children.
2. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with both pupils and parents/carers. You should be able to effectively communicate learning objectives, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
3. Adaptability and Flexibility: As a maternity cover position, the ability to adapt quickly to new environments and follow existing teaching plans is vital. You should be able to maintain a consistent level of teaching excellence while accommodating any changes or adjustments required.
4. Passion for Education: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and have a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners. Your enthusiasm for teaching should be evident in your approach to classroom management, planning, and delivery of lessons.
