We are currently working closely with a lovely school in Telford that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team until the end of the academic year.
Located in Telford, our partner school prides itself on providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment for all students. With a focus on academic excellence and holistic development, the school is committed to equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. The welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the school fosters a sense of community and collaboration among students, staff, and parents.
As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students across the school. This includes assisting with classroom activities, working one-on-one with students who require additional help, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in an educational setting
– Relevant qualifications in education or a related field
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents
– A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning and development

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
