Are you passionate about working with Children and making a positive impact on their Education? Zest Education have a new and exciting opportunity working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a KS1 class, based in a one form entry School situated on the edge of Cannock Chase in Staffordshire.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, your role will involve providing personalized support and assistance to students who require additional help in their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
– Work one-on-one with students, providing individualised support and guidance
– Assist in implementing and delivering tailored learning plans based on students’ specific needs
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
– Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure students’ progress and well-being
– Monitor and assess students’ development, providing feedback and reporting any concerns to the appropriate parties
– Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
– Experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a school setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patient and empathetic nature, with the ability to establish rapport with students
– Knowledge and understanding of various learning styles and strategies
– Ability to adapt to different learning environments and student needs
– Relevant qualifications and certifications are desirable but not essential

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
