Full Time Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated full-time teaching assistant to support students with additional needs in lower KS2 at a school located on the outskirts of Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school that is committed to improvement and providing exceptional education to its students.

As a full-time teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one assistance to students with additional need. To excel in this role, you should have a genuine passion for working with children and a strong desire to help them achieve their full potential.

Key qualifications and skills for this position include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. You should also be highly organized, able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a positive and nurturing approach to supporting students.

This full-time role will commence in January 2025. The pay for this role will start from £80 a day, dependent on references and experience.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
