Full Time Teaching Assistant Position

Zest Education is currently collaborating with a wonderful school in the centre of Dudley, who is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team in December 2024 until the end of the academic year.

This outstanding 4–11 primary school not only focuses on providing top-quality education but also prioritises equipping each student with essential life skills for their future success. The school are looking for a teaching assistant who is dedicated and passionate about education and providing students with the best educational experience possible. Experience working within a primary school is essential in this role. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of primary school curriculum is desirable.

Role responsibilities include: 
– Assisting the lead teacher in preparing lesson materials
– Providing individualised support to students who may need extra help
– Supervising students during class activities and ensuring a safe learning environment
– Helping to grade assignments and provide feedback to students
– Communicating with parents about student progress and behaviour
– Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

Pay will begin from £80.00 and will be dependant on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
