Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Y2/3 Teaching position for a primary school in Brownhills. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to work within a lovely primary school in Brownhills.for The role is due to start in April 2024 and continuing until the end of the academic year.
As a Y2/3 Teacher, you will be responsible for a full class role, delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring the academic progress of your students. It is essential that candidates have previous experience teaching in Y2/3 and hold a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certification.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum and school guidelines
– Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support
– Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
– Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and any concerns
– Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, achievements, and behavior
– Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required
Requirements:
– Proven experience teaching in Y2/3
– Valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organisational and time management abilities
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
